St James’ Trust

Client Name: St James’ Trust
Location: Seaford
Projected Savings : 60% saving on the cost of electricity.

Project Overview

St James’ Trust is a local independent charity supporting Seaford residents and the wider community.  The building currently had several 5ft 58W tubes, 6ft 70W tubes and 2D 28W bulkheads in the meeting rooms and offices.

Client Brief

St James’ Trust wanted to reduce their energy costs and long-term maintenance costs by replacing their existing lighting with LED lighting.

The Solution by LED-UK

The replacement lighting was standardised with a 5ft baton across the meeting rooms, kitchen area, due to the increased LUX level from LED.

In the offices, the old-style fluorescent tubes were replaced with a UGR U19 600 x 600 LED panel, as this is compliant with working at desk top computers.

60% saving on the cost of electricity.

Other Benefits

All the lights installed were at 4000K neutral white, giving a cleaner and nicer feel to the meeting rooms.  In addition, sensor lights were added in the corridor, to further reduce energy costs.
